In 1893, The Scream Painting was created by Edvard Munch.

From his childhood Munch suffered from diseases and has gone through very bad psychological conditions.

The Scream Painting is a part of series of four paintings that is based on Munch's semi-autobiographical cycle “The Frieze of Life.”

On 7 May, 1994, it was stolen from a Norwegian art museum in Oslo.

After, three months the painting was found and now it is kept at The National Museum in Oslo.
